Arrival And Kick Off

Welcome to Israel! Upon arrival to Ben Gurion International Airport, you will be met by representatives from Israel Maven and Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center.

It is important that you  keep your blue slip from Passport Control throughout the trip.

Meet with Conservative Yeshiva students and join a class in the Yeshiva taught by CY faculty

How to advance the Conservative/Masorti mission in Israel Visit with President Herzog at his residence 

Communal lunch in the Alfred and Temma Kingsley Dining Hall Dining Hall on the FJC Campus

Visit to the Knesset and meet with some of the advocates and law makers pertaining to widening Jewish pluralism in Israel

Theatrical tour in the picturesque neighborhoods of Nachlaot by Ariel Keren and Friends. An opportunity to get a feel of different Jewish origins and backgrounds in Jerusalem.

Visit the ANU Museum – the renewed Diaspora Museum, ANU – Museum of the Jewish People has positioned itself as a cutting-edge museum and cultural center, whose contemporary relevance is unrivalled. Meet with the chief curator of the Museum to hear about her vision with the renewal of the Museum.


Lunch on own and time to explore the Carmel Market in Tel Aviv




Visit the Cymbalista Synagogue and Jewish Heritage Center. The Center was devised to house a synagogue and bridge the gap between religious and secular segments of Israeli society in an academic environment. Enjoy a special performance of contemporary artists and performers, creating new work inspired by Jewish texts and tradition.

Visit Heichal Hasefer at the Israel Museum with FJC faculty 

We will use the Dead Sea scrolls to reconsider the role of diversity in Jerusalem during the 2nd Temple Period.


Visit the City Hall of Jerusalem for dialogue with urban planners about the future landscape of the city and FJC’s unique opportunities to grow as part of it. We will meet with Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon, who will share his vision of Jerusalem in the coming years.

Visit with “Hamifal”/”the Factory”, an art community that turned an abandoned 19th Century building in the heart of Jerusalem into a shared platform for art and culture right down the street from FJC.

Fees and FAQs

Total cost for a person sharing a double room is $2,894. For a single supplement, an additional $960 will be added.

This does not include flights, some meals as listed in the itinerary, nor tips for any staff or service provider.

Cancelation Policy

Israel Maven‘s cancelation policy is as follows:

  • Your trip is taking place during the regular season. Therefore, If cancellation is received in our office:
    • More than 60 days before arrival – full refund less $100 US per person.
    • Between 60-30 days before arrival – $500 US per person plus any hotel cancellation fees.
    • Between 29-15 days before arrival – $750 US per person plus any hotel cancellation fees.
    • Within 14 days of arrival – full payment for the entire program will be charged.
