September 1-10: Dimensions of Teshuva: From the State of Our Souls to the State of the World with scholar-in-residence Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg (London)

September 14-17: Dimensions of Teshuva: The State of Israel’s Soul with FJC Faculty Paul Gross, Dr. Shaiya Rothberg, Rabbi Dr. Ilana Kurshan, Rabbi Dr. Josh Kulp, Jonathan Lipnick, etc.

From September 1–10 and 14–17, join us at the Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center for an immersive Elul learning experience. This year, the Yeshiva is honored to welcome Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg as our scholar-in-residence from September 1-10. Together, we will explore the theme, “Dimensions of Teshuva: From the State of Our Souls to the State of the World.”  From September 14-17, we will transition to “The State of Israel’s Soul.” The Elul program is inclusive, egalitarian, and open to learners of all backgrounds and levels of text study. Join us for three weeks of intensive and rewarding Torah study and volunteering in the heart of Jerusalem.

Scholar-in-residence:

Rabbi jonathan wittenberg

Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg serves as the Senior Rabbi of Masorti Judaism in the UK and is the Rabbi Emeritus of the New North London Synogogue. He is deeply involved in interfaith work, serving as the President of the Council of Christians and Jews in addition to the Council of Imams and Rabbis. He is also involved with environmental work and supporting refugees. He is the author of 9+ publications including Walking With The LightThe Silence Of Dark Water.

PROGRAM COST

Dimensions of Teshuva: From the State of Our Souls to the State of the World runs from September 1-10 with scholar-in-residence Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg and FJC Faculty. The cost of this full-time program is $650. (Please note the price does not include flights, lodging, or food)

Dimensions of Teshuva: The State of Israel’s Soul runs from September 14-17 with FJC Faculty Dr. Shaiya Rothberg, Rabbi Dr. Ilana Kurshan, Rabbi Dr. Josh Kulp, Jonathan Lipnick, and more. The cost of this full-time program is $400. (Please note the price does not include flights, lodging, or food)

The cost of the full Dimensions of Teshuva program is $900.
