Sukkot & Simchat Torah Prayer Schedule 2024

Thursday, October 17, 9:00

Morning service for the first day of Sukkot with hoshanot and hallel. Kiddush to follow.

Shabbat, October 19, 9:00

Morning service for Shabbat Chol Hamoed Sukkot with hallel. Kiddush and Kohelet reading to follow.

Wednesday, October 23, 18:00

Evening service, where we will mark Simchat Torah this year as an opportunity for mourning and renewal through the Torah. With solemn intention, we dedicate our hakafot to all of those who perished last Simchat Torah, to the hostages, and to our fallen soldiers. As we circle with the sifrei Torah, we will gradually move from the depths of grief to a place of greater strength. And, we will invoke blessings for our people through the reading of Torah anew.

Thursday, October 24, 9:00

Morning service for Simchat Torah, prayed without festivity but with conviction and resolve. We seek renewal in the reading of the beginning of Torah and honor the memories of those we lost in the past year during Yizkor.
