Daf Shevui Archive

The Babylonian Talmud, which to this day remains the crown of rabbinic texts, was in a certain sense completed about 1500 years ago. But its completion was only partial, for the Bavli was never a text that a student could learn on their own. It always needed explanation. And for over a thousand years, not only have teachers been explaining the Talmud to their students, they have been writing down their commentaries, passing them on from generation to generation, so that these works too join the Jewish tradition and become venerable texts themselves.

Our Daf Shevui archives are our own small contribution to this eternal Jewish endeavor. We hope that in the years to come our archives continue to grow and bring forth Jewish wisdom to your lives and those of future generations.
